Hey, I’m Vicky!


Edging closer to 30 (eek!), by day I’m an environmental consultant and by evening, well.. I’m just me. I started this blog as a way to find out what interests me and as a place to write. I love writing.

After I graduated in 2011, I pretty much lost interest in a lot of things and had no real idea of what I loved. After a bit of procrastination and whining, I decided to get off my bum and get inspired. The first thing I turned to was cooking. I became inspired by all things food and jumped in at the deep end by sharing my favourite recipes in an email newsletter, which I still do.

The idea of sharing recipes grew into a blog… but I’m not the best recipe maker or experimenter and as I’ve become passionate about other things, I’ve decided to branch out. And that’s why oh beans is a place for me to share with you things that interest me, be it: Food, Fitness, Travel or Oxford.
